About tweeted.com and Me
I’m Gerald, the sole operator of tweeted.com. My background is in Commercial Art and Fine Arts, with extensive experience in various design and illustration techniques – from traditional mediums to digital tools.
My journey began shortly after my military service. I went to college in West Virginia, where I earned my B.A. Post-graduation, I moved to Winston-Salem, NC, a bustling advertising hub in the Southeast. The late 1980s saw tumultuous changes in the industry, leading to my disillusionment. After facing unexpected agency closures, I pivoted to healthcare, retraining as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
The rise of consumer PCs and early websites rekindled my creative passion. Fascinated by web technology, I self-taught various content management systems and basic HTML. This curiosity extended to domain names as well.
In recent years, I’ve embraced WordPress and become captivated by AI’s potential in web creation. As a self-taught enthusiast, I’ve delved into creating AI assistants, particularly using OpenAI’s ChatGPT. My current focus is on exploring other AI platforms like Claude and Copilot.
This ongoing learning journey inspired me to share my knowledge. I’ve developed several websites with overlapping themes, each carving out its niche. It’s been an exciting and fulfilling creative process.
Throughout my career shifts, the common thread has been my drive to learn, create, and adapt to new technologies. From traditional art to cutting-edge AI, I’ve always found joy in exploring new creative frontiers.
